With over 30 years of experience in Hollywood, Lee has seen it all and done it all. He's served as Showrunner, Director, and Executive Producer for massive global hits such as Two and a Half Men and The Big Bang Theory. He's a pro in developing/writing/directing/ producing TV shows (he’s currently writing and producing his long-time passion project with Jason) and has written for hit shows such as Who's the Boss, Charles in Charge, Cybil, CSI and numerous others.

Jason Kyle is Co-Founder of The Creators Writing Room, and head of development at CWR Productions with Lee Aronsohn (Co-Showrunner/Creator TWO AND A HALF MEN, Executive Producer BIG BANG THEORY). Jason has been a manager, development coordinator and creative assistant at major studios such as CBS and Sony, and worked under overall deals with Glenn Geller (former President of CBS Studios), Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa (Creators/Showrunners of HOMELAND). Prior to Hollywood, Jason was a management consultant, creating content strategies for large companies such as AT&T and Salesforce. He served in the Peace Corps in Albania from 2010-2012.

COURSE IN PORTUGAL
Total Creative Immersion
Be in the creative process from the gestational to the birth stages of a comedy TV pilot. Through the guidance of your mentors, learn how to turn ideas into worlds and worlds into scripts, and ultimately produce and direct a script.
Daily Tranquility Practices
Learn how to balance and grow your consciousness by modeling useful techniques. By addressing your inner needs, you will build more confidence and unleash your creativity to the next level.
Amazing Meals
Learn how to listen to your body and nourish it with balanced and nutritious meals. Your registration includes three delicious consciously-prepared meals a day.
Beautiful Location
Enjoy the rich and colorful beauty of Lisbon. Stay in a house with the four mentors and the other students and experience a truly bonding and creative living.
The focus of this expedition is intensive filmmaking but we will provide free time for other activities that can soothe your soul and ignite your fire.

The Expedition costs $12,000 and includes:
Comedy pilot instruction and mentorship for four weeks

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We expect you to be in Portugal on June 1, 2023. If you would like to travel together, we can connect you with the other students before the course, and you can make arrangements. Once in Portugal, we will pick you up from the airport.

We will meet with every participant before the expedition begins and discuss dietary preferences and needs. When preparing meals, we will try to accommodate everyone’s needs.

Participants will share rooms. The focus of the course is to live, bond, and create together. We will spend less time indoors and more outdoors. The property is large, and it will host only our group during the duration of our program.

If the retreat needs to be canceled due to any public health concerns, you will receive a full refund or will be given an option to transfer to a future retreat.
For those who pay in full: if you cancel your registration more than six months from the day of the retreat, you can receive a 75% refund.
If you cancel your registration from three to six months from the retreat date, you can receive a 50% refund.
If you cancel your spot within three months of the retreat, no refund is possible.
